Melrose Outreach Preschool
Melrose Rural Care is a long day care centre, open 8 am to 6 pm, from Monday to Friday every week of the year, with the exception of closure over the Christmas and New Year.
Care is available on a waitlist system, for 0-12 year olds. We are licensed to care for 4 children under 5 years and 3 children between 5 and 12 years old. Most over 5 year old care is before and after school care with some holiday care.
Our site has been classified as a site at risk during Catastrophic Fire Alert Days. This means that when a Catastrophic Fire Alert is called, our site will be closed on that day. All parents will endeavoured to be contacted the night before closure, however please keep your radio on the ABC 639 AM frequency to keep track of current conditions or visit www.cfs.org.au or phone 1800 000 279, for more information.
Melrose Outreach Preschool for 2012 will be offered 3 days over the fortnight. Every odd week of term a full Monday session from 8.40 am concluding at 3.20pm. Every Wednesday 8.40am to 3.20pm. Children aged 3.5 years to 5 years experience the national curriculum, Early Years Learning Framework, for their learning through play. Melrose Outreach Preschool is staffed with an Early Years teacher. Fees are $50 per term for full time kindy and $50 for pre entry. 4 year old entry after term 2 2012 in readiness for the 4 term preschool access in 2013.

Parent Information
Parents are welcome to come in and talk to staff, look at the service we provide and stay with their child while they settle in. We program to the Early Years Learning Framework, which is a play based curriculum. Care is available on a whole day basis for $63 per day.

Playgroup Information
Playgroup runs from 10am to 12pm every Thursday during the school term. The cost is $2.00 per family, per session, payable on the day of use.
